What does JAQS mean?
In short it stands for - Jeff (husband), Asher (first child), Q (me), and Silas (second child). But to me it is a lot more than that. It is family. It is the work, dedication and spirit that each of us bring into the studio. My family inspires and motivates me to do more than I would ever do alone. I dedicate this Studio to them.
Who am I?
For now, I work full-time at a "9-5" but I hope one day to dedicate that time to this passion - design, sharing and making beautiful things. Though my #1 mission is loving my family (a very supportive husband and 2 awesome little boys) , I do admit that my Studio is not a shabby #2. I have been sewing and designing for as long as I could remember. This is no exaggeration. I remember sewing all my dolls outfits, no wardrobes as early as 5. Picked up my first knitting needles at 7. And the rest is history as they say :).
